A story that serve as a reminder to us:
There's a story of the Mayonnaise Jar and Coffee. Golf balls, sand and pebbles.A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed."Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things- your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions-things that if everything else was lostand only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. The sand is everything else - the small stuff."If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebblesor the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal."Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand." One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

Coming to mid July. That's how time flies. It's almost the end of the first semester for me, another 2 weeks or less. It is going to be a bitter sweet end to the first semester because i am definitely going to miss my classmates very much coz they are one awesome bunch of people. Greatness and also im a finally released from the doom of Java temporarily. Talking about classmates. I shall now share abit about my class mates.
There are 24 of us in one class. There 4 foreigners but one of them is already like one singaporean. I could not even tell that he is an indonesian. We all clicked at the moment the semester begins which was awesome. On the first week of the lesson, we were already planning to go for an outing. what outing you ask? A ghost-hunting outing. Crazy. Too bad i could not join them due to some restrictions from my parents. Boo-hoo ): They went to Sentosa to find the ghost or whatever shit. But they could not find or encounter anything. Lucky for them. But they played a game while waiting for the sun to rise (they went on a Tuesday night, no school the next day). The game is called Kissing game. To cut long story short, you basically have to kiss everybody. Yes. and that cause some riff for the next 2 days. But it was all fun.
I am going to jump straight to another game that we played in class. We played Water Parade. I think this one of the bestest game ever in my opinion. This game will make you drink and suffer at the same time. We used poker card to play this game. Each one of us have to draw a card and when one receives either 1,2,3 or 4 red flower, they have to pick some people to drink water. Lucky for them, it will be a sip. But let say, if you were to draw a J, Q or K, you have to drink almost half the bottle or drink all. Jack is for you to call out questions like "name rockband" so the people who are playing have to name one band each until of them could not answer anymore. and once that person cannot answer, they have to drink half the bottle. Same concept for the Queen. But queen is a rule card. You make rule using this card like "no touching hair" so you cannot touch your hair until the end of the game. When does the game end? The game will end when the person draw out the last King card and the person who does this have to drink the bottle. Sounds chicken. Wait till you try. I was the only girl who play and it was hell. i could not control my bladder that long but have to try to end the game.
So yea. Here are a just some insights of my class that i shared with you. Its long i know.
Sorry. But Thanks.
KTHANKZBI!
